The special session to finish the budget will start on Wednesday, February 24. For today, we only need one call. Call the governor's office at 476-2200 and ask him to SIGN Senate Bill 207. We'll keep you updated on all the developments before the special session, and will have at least one set of calls and emails for you to make to let key legislators know how important it is for them to raise revenue instead of cutting employees and services. Our jobs and the services we provide to hundreds of thousands of New Mexicans are on the line. We're going to tough this out and show the legislature how much we care about the services we provide and the people we help. Make the one call asking the governor to sign SB 207 today, take a breather for Friday, and we'll be in touch over the weekend to let you know who to contact to keep our momentum going. --Carter
