AFSCME Community Team (ACT) was created in 2012. Over the years, AFSCME Council 18, through their ACT Program, have partnered with the community to help our seniors, veterans, and some of the most vulnerable within our community.
We believe that "many hands make light work." ACT volunteers aim to lift up communities by partnering with local organizations to carry out one day clean-up and maintenance projects. Recipients of ACT projects are labor members of the community who need a hand, or are other organizations that provide needed services to their neighbors.
